Skills: Good sketching & rendering & drafting technique (by hand or computer) ;

Knowledge of mass production processes.

I. Job Objectives:
In line with Mattel vision andstrategy, to work with ES Design & Marketing Team in developing toys fromconcept, idea sketch to production.

1. Product Research
2. ProductDevelopment
3. Supervision
4. Communications
III. Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
Product Development
· Per schedule, togenerate prelim sketches, tight sketches, renderings, GA Drawings, to conductmodel reviews, artwork directions. (50%)
· To produceappropriate information / material and coordination for costing engineer /project engineer / PI engineer / graphic designer throughout the developmentprocess. (10%)
Product Research
· To conductresearches on new technologies, materials, production processes, trends, inorder to support product development process. (20%)
Supervision
· To coach &supervise product designers and junior product designers to produce appropriateproducts / product graphic. (10%)
Misc (5%)
· To assistmanager to perform certain managerical duties. (5%)
· To set upshowroom, review sales sample and handle special request from key accounts. (5%)
Communication
· To collect,gether, digest, revise product information to and from various partiesthrougout the whole design process.

V. Education:
University Graduate in Product/Industrial Design.

Good sketching & rendering &drafting technique (by hand or computer)
Knowledge of computer based design softwares.
Good communication & presentation skills. (goodspoken & written English)
Good interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of mass production processes.
